Why the Institute Exists

What was missing was not talent. What was missing was formation.

That sentence has governed Nayla Consults since before we had a name for it. We had watched, for years, exceptional educators placed into premium households with no professional home — no shared philosophy, no published standard, no structure holding their formation together beyond a single engagement. The talent was never the problem. What was missing was an institution willing to form them.

What Happened on the Day

On 15 August 2026, twenty educators gathered at The Old Hall, RCCG The Possibility Church, Ifako Gbagada, Lagos, for the founding ceremony of the Nayla Educators’ Institute. Each received The Nayla Philosophy. Each affirmed The Nayla Standard. Each took the Educator Oath, and each signed the Educator Covenant — a permanent record of admission into a professional institution built to outlast any one placement, any one family, any one year.

There was a particular silence after the Oath was read — the kind of silence that tells you something real has just happened. Twenty educators had just made a formal commitment not to a job, but to a standard.

The Founding Cohort

These twenty educators are now the Founding Cohort of the Nayla Educators’ Institute — permanent members, and the first generation of a formation lineage that every future Nayla Educator will belong to. Their names will be recorded in the Institute’s founding record, published in full on the Founding Cohort page.

What Comes Next

Day Zero of the Institute has already begun. The formation journey now continues through the Certification Pathway — from Certified through Senior, Lead, Master, and Faculty Trainer — and every educator Nayla admits from this point forward enters that same lineage. For families, this means a simple assurance: every educator placed by Nayla is a member of a real, standing professional institution, not simply a name on a list.

We believe. We live. We become.
